His passion for football, sparked by striker Billy Malpass, influenced the club’s name, linking it to Elgar and Worcester.
Worcester Wanderers FC, formerly Worcester United Under 14’s, excelled in the Mercian Junior Football League before transitioning to the more competitive Stourbridge & District Youth Football League. Their Under 13’s spectacular run included 19 wins out of 20 games. Now rebranded, they aspire to grow with hopes of adding more teams.
