Minutes of meeting – 20.11.23

Preliminary discussion regarding AS being removed from account – agreed AS will have not role in the club moving forward. AC will be added to account. AS left meeting.
Decision made to leave Worcester United and set up a new team for 2024 season. Name not known yet. In process of identifying a home ground. JG contacted Droitwich Rugby Club regarding grass pitch there. Ther is also a 4G all weather pitch so games can still continue in bad weather – enquiries made. Holt Millenium is another option if needed.

AGM will be annually – 1st AGM for new club will be on 1st July 2024 (Monday)
AGM agenda to include:
- Report from last year
- Finances report
- Re-elect committee members
- AOB
Documents required for new club but to be circulated asap:
- Code of conduct – Parents
- Code of conduct – Players
- Code of conduct – Coaches/ Managers
- Payment of subs to inc amount, payment date, chaser sent, de-register if not paid in 14 days with £10 to re-register.
Subs to increase to £25 from January 2024, give 1 month notice of this (1st December 23).
Winter training 2024 to be identified, Quartergreen satisfactory for winter 23 but too small going forward.
Kit needed for 2024 to include:
- 2 kits – 2 shirts, one shorts and one socks.
- Quarter zip top
- Winter coat
- Light rain jacket
- Kit/boot bag
Try to get a sponsor for kit. KG will ask her work about this.
Ideas for kit, Joma Adidas or Nike so not like Stanno
Sponsors costs; TBC once know number of teams.
Need presence on Facebook, Instagram etc – see if any parent wants to take the lead and responsibility for this.
